The final product of my first 2D surface design, fabricated using Rhino 6:
I took inspiration from designs I see everyday. I clearly have a small obsession with floral patterns, so it's no surprise I went in that direction for my final design.
After collecting some photos for inspiration, I tried to replicate the idea of varying styles of a similar design being spaced out in a uniform manner. I went for a pretty basic colour scheme, a dull grey background with a bright teal foreground. The end result resembles some kind of wallpaper pattern you might find in a quaint old house. Overall I had fun making it! Like I said, I'm obsessed with floral patterns.
