This week I began reverse engineering the model plane I posted about before, by tackling the small plastic pieces I was able to take apart. This proved to be slightly frustrating because the ridiculously tiny details were difficult to accurately measure. I also ran into problems with the plastic because I mangled some parts during my fight to detach them from the plane itself. However, I was fortunately able to reference the intact parts and record all of the proper measurements.

Some questions I ran into while working were:
- Is there a way to FilletEdge an inverted corner? (like on the object above)
- How can you add text against a curved surface? (because I will have to add text to the plane)
- Is there a way to make a transparent material in rendering? (because the windshield is clear plastic)
Out of my progress this week I am most proud of the propeller. It took me a while to figure out how to get the twist in the wings, but once I figured it out it turned out super cool looking and was a very satisfying success. This hurdle made me discover that the easiest way for me to visualize the shape I am aiming for, is to first create the shape dimensions in rectangle form.
